Built for variable winter conditions where warmth, weather protection, and dexterity are equally important, the Outdoor Research Arete Modular GORE-TEX® 3-Finger Glove combines a waterproof insulated outer glove with a removable fleece liner in a versatile modular cold-weather system.

The 3-finger trigger-finger design bridges the gap between a conventional glove and a mitt, keeping fingers grouped together for improved warmth while maintaining independent index-finger control for manipulating equipment, tools, bindings, and other gear.

A GORE-TEX® waterproof insert provides dependable protection against snow, wind, and moisture while remaining breathable during active use. The outer glove is insulated with 100 g EnduraLoft™ synthetic insulation, providing reliable warmth even in changing winter conditions.

The durable water-resistant goat-leather palm and fingers provide excellent grip, abrasion resistance, and tactile control, while the stretch-woven nylon shell allows greater freedom of movement.

Inside, a removable 300-weight fleece 3-finger liner adds warmth and versatility. The liner can be worn independently during milder conditions and features touchscreen compatibility, allowing smartphones, GPS units, and other electronic devices to be operated without exposing bare hands.

This modular construction creates a practical 3-in-1 system: wear the complete glove for maximum protection, use the waterproof outer shell with another preferred liner, or wear the fleece liner independently when conditions allow.

A full-length gauntlet provides extended coverage over jacket sleeves, while the adjustable wrist cinch and gauntlet closure help seal out snow and cold air. Removable wrist leashes help prevent gloves from being dropped when removed, and integrated glove clips keep the pair secured together when stored.
