Split Chest Rig - Base Bundle

Purchased this setup for deployment as C9 gunner. Comfortable rig and very versatile for the role.Multicam is a very good match to standard issue colour scheme. Only complain is that one of the anchor points for the shoulder strap broke by way of a defective rivet on the left front above the magazine pouch. Very disappointing given it’s only serviceable use was a range day to that point. Too close to departure to return.

Very sturdy, and much lighter than I expected. Excotied to see how it holds up in the field.

I am not a hard-core user but more of an enthusiast. Up until now ive had and RRH and a TAPS rig which both I loved but they seemed very limited. I wanted to try something new and ended with the split rig amd personally I dont think I could go back.im a huge fan of the quality and modularity. Especially appre native of the fit which surprised me. Super sturdy but comfortable as can be. Can't wait to experiment with some set ups.

For my missions, I need to carry various equipment, notebooks, and reference materials — and this chest rig is truly perfect for that purpose.

Got the LP2, tubes, 3 column wings with sustainment, admin, radio and m300 pouches. Tough, well made with solid stitching. Firm wings that are comfy but carry the weight and keep everything in position. Well thought out.

I’ve only heard great things about Carcajou gear, and I was not disappointed. Not only is this chest rig comfortable it is really well built. I also ordered some pouches to go with rig. And they are just as well made as the rig itself. Highly recommend

Picked up the split rig with tubes, molle 4 placard and 4 column wings. Absolutely tough as can be, stitching is well done and nothing feels cheap. The wings and placards are a little stiff but I think the backing adds a lot of rigidity that will serve it well when loaded up with kit. It comes with enough strap to fit two smaller framed people but it's easy enough to adjust to wear over gear and then trim as necessary. The smaller column wings would have probably helped but I wanted the real estate. Excited to customize with pouches and put to good use!

Running this with the Molle 4 main sections with tubes and the 4 column wings. 2 accuracy international 7.62 AW mag pouches per Molle 4 main, a medium GP pouch and radio weak side. Strong side wing a double pistol mag pouch and a pouch for rangefinder/kestrel. Nice cable management for running cable from radio to PTT.

I appreciate how well thought out the designs are.

The only qualm I have about it is that it doesn't fit small; skinny persons that well. Granted, it would fit well with body armour and other layers but with only a shirt on, there's a bit too much wiggle room for my liking (with all the adjustment strapped at the tightest setting).

Otherwise, I'm enjoying my rig so far.
