Coyote Brown / Molle Yoke / Small
Molle Belt Kit - Base Bundel

Excellent quality, I have been looking for a high quality belt kit to utilize in coyote brown and this is it. I am very happy and look forward to purchasing more products in the future.

Customizable and comfy.

I wasn’t sure which belt kit to go with and searched online for a while, but I’m glad I chose Carcajou.

I wanted a load bearing belt for backpacking, everything else on the market is pre loaded with pouches and at least 300 dollars more.

The MOLLE on the belt feels stiff in a good way. I used surplus marine sustainment pouches on the sides and an extra large butt pouch from CPgear on Amazon.

I was able to attach a Haley strategic flatpack to the MOLLE yolk and thread the shoulder straps through the shoulder pads, allowing a DC3RM micro rig up front for some extra storage.

Ultimately I highly recommend the base belt kit for anyone who knows what they want to do with the belt and doesn’t need the pouches on one of the pre loaded kits, or anyone who wants to save money by using surplus pouches.

A bit to be desired.

To preface, this belt kit was only used once at a 60 hour Milsim event during the summer, using a blank fire MMG and carried 300 rounds of linked 7.62 blanks, 1 quart of water, sidearm, cleaning kit, tools, admin, snacks, etc.. Overall weight was around 30 pounds.
The laser cut material is nice, I personally didn’t use the kit in a wet environment, so I can’t say for sure, but I don’t think it would retain too much water when dumping rain.
The width of the belt is great and offers lots of space for gear and allows for the bottoms of larger pouches to not flop against you when you’re moving.
The belt and yoke system with padded straps is incredibly comfortable and held the weight well when static. However, the nylon straps that connect the two seem to be too thin and would occasionally loosen up, especially when moving and at one point during a “fight”, two of which came completely undone and almost separated the entire belt from the yoke. I ended up having to tape down the straps so that they would hold.
The plastic cobra buckle I am also not a fan of and the waist straps attached to it provide no quick adjustment, which was not a total detriment, but annoying to have to re-weave the straps through the keepers on them to make the belt fit snug on your body when putting on or removing layers of clothing. This was also an issue when swapping kits with my assistant gunner whenever we had to trade off the gun, as he couldn’t adjust the belt to himself on the fly.
Overall, I think this belt kit would be absolutely perfect if the straps connecting the yoke to the belt didn’t loosen up so easily and if the buckle and waist straps were of a different design. With how large, overbuilt, and expensive this belt kit is, I wish it would carry a lot of weight without issue.

TLDR; great material, very comfortable, but doesn’t carry heavy weight as well as it should and the cobra buckle setup is meh.
