Built for high-output activity in cool and cold conditions, the Outdoor Research Men’s Shadow Hybrid Hoodie combines lightweight insulation, exceptional breathability, and unrestricted mobility in a versatile hybrid layer.
The Shadow Hybrid uses strategically mapped VerticalX™ Eco insulation through the front body and hood to provide warmth where it is needed most, while breathable stretch panels across the back and sides help release excess heat and moisture during strenuous movement.
This hybrid construction makes the hoodie ideal for stop-and-go activity, allowing it to retain warmth during periods of low output while remaining highly breathable when the pace increases.
The insulated front and hood use a lightweight 20D nylon-spandex stretch woven fabric, while the back and side panels are constructed from a more durable stretch double weave for increased breathability, abrasion resistance, and mobility.
4-way stretch and movement-mirroring construction allow the garment to move naturally with the body, while the DWR-treated exterior provides additional resistance against light moisture and changing weather conditions.
An insulated hood adds warmth without excessive bulk, while bonded articulated cuffs with gussets improve comfort and mobility around the wrists. Dual hand pockets and an external chest pocket provide secure storage for essential equipment and everyday items.
