Shipping & Insurance Policy

Thank you for shopping with Carcajou Tactical. Please review the information below regarding order processing, shipping, delivery estimates, shipping insurance, and customer responsibilities.

 

Processing Times

Regular Processing

  • 1–3 business days

During Sales, Promotions & Holidays

  • 2–5 business days

Processing times begin once payment has been received and the order has been verified. Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays.

 

Estimated Shipping Times

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Canada

  • 3–5 business days (depending on the carrier and service selected)

Contiguous United States

  • USPS Ground: 3–8 business days
  • USPS Priority: 2–4 business days
  • FedEx 2Day: 2 business days

International

  • Typically 6–10 business days, depending on destination, customs clearance, and the selected carrier.

Actual delivery times may vary due to weather, customs processing, carrier delays, peak shipping periods, or other circumstances beyond our control.

 

Free Shipping Eligibility

Free shipping is available for:

  • Orders shipped within Canada with a subtotal of $150 CAD or more
  • Orders shipped to the contiguous United States with a subtotal of $150 USD or more, using an eligible shipping method

Free shipping is not available for:

  • Oversized or overweight items
  • Alaska
  • Hawaii
  • Puerto Rico
  • U.S. territories
  • International destinations outside Canada and the contiguous United States

*Oversized or overweight items may incur additional shipping charges regardless of the order subtotal. Any applicable charges will be calculated at checkout or confirmed prior to shipment.

 

Additional Shipping Information

  • Shipping rates for orders that do not qualify for free shipping are calculated automatically at checkout.
  • Available carriers and shipping methods vary by destination.
  • Orders may be fulfilled from either our Canadian or U.S. warehouse depending on inventory availability, destination, and operational requirements.
  • Orders containing multiple items may ship separately from different warehouses at no additional shipping cost whenever possible.
  • In-store pickup is available during regular business hours.
  • Signature confirmation may be required on certain shipments at Carcajou Tactical's discretion.
  • Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Additional shipping charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Carrier delays caused by weather, customs inspections, labor disruptions, transportation issues, or other events beyond our control do not constitute grounds for cancellation or compensation.
 

Shipping Insurance

To better protect your purchase, optional shipping insurance is available on eligible orders.

 

If Shipping Insurance Is Purchased

If an insured shipment is lost or damaged during transit, Carcajou Tactical will work directly with the shipping carrier to resolve the claim.

For lost shipments, the carrier must first complete its investigation and officially declare the package lost before a replacement or other resolution can be issued.

Carrier investigations may take several weeks depending on the shipping service.

 

If Shipping Insurance Is Declined

Customers may decline shipping insurance during checkout.

If shipping insurance is declined:

  • The buyer assumes the risks associated with an uninsured shipment to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
  • Carcajou Tactical's ability to replace, refund, or compensate for packages lost, stolen, or damaged in transit may be limited to the remedies available through the shipping carrier and applicable law.
  • Any claims relating to uninsured shipments will be handled at Carcajou Tactical's sole discretion.
 

Lost Packages

If a shipment is believed to be lost:

  1. The customer must notify Carcajou Tactical as soon as possible.
  2. A formal investigation will be opened with the shipping carrier.
  3. Replacement shipments or refunds cannot be issued until the carrier has completed its investigation and confirmed the shipment as lost.
 

Customs, Duties & Taxes

International shipments may be subject to:

  • Import duties
  • Customs brokerage fees
  • Tariffs
  • VAT
  • GST/HST
  • Other taxes or governmental charges

These charges are determined by the destination country and are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Refused international shipments may be subject to return shipping charges, customs fees, brokerage fees, and applicable restocking charges.

 

Force Majeure

Carcajou Tactical shall not be liable for delays or failure to fulfill orders resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Severe weather
  • Carrier interruptions
  • Transportation disruptions
  • Customs delays
  • Government actions
  • Labor disputes
  • Power or communication outages
 

Policy Updates

Carcajou Tactical reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice. Updates become effective immediately upon publication on our website.
