The quality and durability of the adapter is great.

The quality and durability of the adapter is great. I got it with the fanny pack because other fanny packs have deteriorated too quickly, even though I was only using them while walking the dogs.
I understand why the strap is so long, but I am a woman just wearing the fanny pack around my waist to hold my phone and dog treats, so I am using metal clips to keep the excess strap tidy.
I also didn't know how to attach the adapter to the fanny pack and the videos on the web site didn't show that part. Maybe hunters and people who use tactical gear already know how to do this. I would have liked a diagram showing which of the many slots the tabs go in.
