Free Shipping Eligibility
Free shipping is available for:
- Orders shipped within Canada with a subtotal of $150 CAD or more
- Orders shipped to the contiguous United States with a subtotal of $150 USD or more via eligible shipping methods
Free shipping is not available for:
- Alaska
- Hawaii
- Puerto Rico
- U.S. territories
- International destinations outside Canada and the contiguous United States
Additional Shipping Information
- Shipping rates for orders not eligible for free shipping are automatically calculated at checkout.
- Available shipping methods and carriers may vary by destination.
- Orders may be fulfilled from either our Canadian or U.S. warehouse depending on inventory availability, destination, and operational requirements.
- In-store pickup is available on business days only.
- Delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, weather conditions, labor disruptions, or other circumstances beyond our control may impact delivery times.
Shipping Insurance Policy
To provide clarity and transparency, Carcajou Tactical offers optional shipping insurance on eligible orders.
Shipping Insurance Option
Customers may choose to decline shipping insurance at checkout.
If shipping insurance is declined, the buyer assumes full responsibility for all risks associated with the shipment, including but not limited to:
- Theft during transit
- Damage during transit
- Loss of shipment
Claims for Lost Shipments (Insured Orders Only)
In the event of a lost package, a claim must be initiated with the shipping carrier to confirm the loss. This process requires an investigation by the carrier and may take several weeks to complete.
Carcajou Tactical must wait for official confirmation from the carrier before proceeding with a replacement shipment. Reshipments cannot be issued until the investigation is completed and the package has been officially declared lost by the carrier.
Seller Responsibility
If the buyer opts out of shipping insurance:
- Carcajou Tactical is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages.
- No replacement, refund, or compensation will be issued for uninsured shipments.
- Responsibility and risk transfer to the buyer once the shipment has been accepted by the carrier.
Recommendation
While shipping insurance is optional, we strongly recommend purchasing coverage to protect your order against loss, theft, or damage during transit.
Claims & Disputes
If an issue arises and shipping insurance was declined:
- Carcajou Tactical is not obligated to provide reimbursement, replacement, or compensation.
- The buyer acknowledges and accepts these terms at the time of checkout.
Taxes, Duties & Tariffs
Carcajou Tactical is not responsible for:
- Import duties
- Customs brokerage fees
- Tariffs
- VAT, GST, HST, or other taxes imposed by governmental authorities
All such charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer and must be paid upon importation where applicable.
Policy Revisions
Carcajou Tactical reserves the right to revise this policy at any time to ensure clarity and alignment with business practices. Any updates become effective immediately upon publication on our website.
