Was in the market for a plate carrier that was M81 woodland and I liked the quality and feel of a previous product I purchased. Despite the order taking a little longer than usual due to production times, it was well worth it. If you are looking for a comfortable minimalist plate carrier that isn't insanely expensive then this is a good purchase. Everything was very easy to put together and of great quality. However, there are a number of drawbacks to note.
First is easily not a huge problem due to the fact it is the nature of a minimalist carrier. There is very little material between the top of a plate and your collar bones. This can lead to some good bruises givin some circumstances.
And secondly the design of the quick release cummerbunds. Due to it being a single direction release and lock in the down position it has the tendency to QR when hit just right. In my first week with it this has happened when putting my rifle at the high ready. This obviously is a problem if you have to stop and re-secure your cummerbund in the middle of an engagement.
Over all a great low profile carrier with jusf a few things to consider. I do not regret my purchase and will continue to use it.
The nexus plate carrier (bag) is amazing only issue I found was getting the shooter cut plates in it was a challenge was extremely extremely tight fit.now that they are in I don’t believe they are coming out
The NEXUS plate bags are light weight, yet well constructed. They look like they will hold up to hard use. Low profile and sleek. Very satisfied with the purchase so far.
Awesome! Well made.
Some shipping issues, but customer service delt with it.
I've wanted the nexus plate carrier for a while now and Carcajou didn't disappoint, fits great and accommodates my lvl 4 ceramic plates with ease. Comfortable and easy to move it, and very breathable. I will continue to buy from this team. From range days to milsim the kit does not disappoint.
WoW ! Qualitée du produit qui dépasse mes attentes !
Professionally made , high quality materials !
Pretty decent quality. Only downside is that they don’t cover the top corner edges of your plates. And require plate covers, separate of the plate bags themselves, if you want your whole plate to be covered. I didn’t realize this when I purchased the product, if I would have known…. I don’t think I would have purchased them.
