I absolutely love this boonie. Super lightweight and breathable for a simple boonie. Allows you to tie in lots of vegetation without over complication.

I bought the recon boonie with the boonie veil. I couldn't be happier. I think the hat and veil came out awesome. I would highly recommend this hat. It's a very light material and soft to the touch. I love it!

True to size and a great product… delivery to the uk from Canada was quite quick , ordered another this time in tiger stripe ..!

Great lid, I got size 1 with a melon measurement of 22 and 3/4 inches, fits good but nervous about shrinking. Washed it but did not run it through the dryer, kept its size. If I get another (Looking at the jungle OCP), I think I would try a size 2. The fit is good, but close. I do recommend, good looking hat, cropped the way I had my ACU Boonie cut in AFG.

The sizing is awesome! I purchased the two sizes, size 1 and size 2 and they fit great. I purchased size 2 for a friend and he had nothing but great things to say.

With the addition of the garnishpack the quality was amazing. The variety made for a full compact unit with the ability to utilize multiple environments in a simple one time package. Being in the rockies there is a wide variety of colours and the boonie with the garnish pack did the job! I would happily recommend these products and you will not be disappointed!!

These are the badass boonies you have been looking for! I have now purchased a jungle boonie as well to go with my Recon boonie. I may order a third. Im a country boy that wears tactical gear as my everyday wardrobe.

I got desert tiger stripe because digital anything is far too common. I recall seeing some desert tiger stripe in Afghanistan and always was fond of it. It’s different looking than the typical cam stuff that you would see, it also isn’t as “desert” as any of the issued arid stuff. I’d consider it to be more versatile than just arid surroundings.

For real though Carcajou, if you pay Canada post at all you’re getting ripped off for shipping. Over a week from Gatineau to Orillia, ON. Ridiculous. Future orders will be picked up in person I think. lol

I’ve been wearing in on my hikes since it arrived. It’s very lite weight, comfortable, and the brim is at a perfect length for my eye glasses! Has protected me for rain and sun! I’m going on the AT for an extended time and the boonie will be with me! Great purchase, beats the boonie hat I got down in Jungle training back in the day!!!

If you got a big head ( no pun) these are one of the few options out there for you. Shorter brim and the one full cover material on top of head vs their other models ( except nvg). If you're looking to support Canadian and local, and have really cool and good looking quality give it a go. Considering how much tilley or other hat manufactures cost and vs overseas quality well worth it. Can't wait to take this and their other large brim style on trips. Packs super thin in ziplock, and no risk with damaging it.

Absolutely perfect hat design. Deep enough that i stays on, high enough it avoids ear pro. The netting and loops are all well stiched. The hat has excellent adjustment ability. Will 100% be buying some more in different patterns

Not bad, but lacking in durability. The shock cord sizing method is innovative but snags in the real world. Lots of room for improvement. No real advantage over fraying a surplus boonie and adding some netting on top.

Awesome fit, not a stitch out of place. For not having mesh or vent holes, it breathes well.
