Carcajou Tactical is a Canadian tactical gear manufacturer based in Gatineau, Quebec. We design, develop, cut, sew, assemble, and inspect our Carcajou Tactical equipment in-house, giving us direct control over the quality and performance of every product we produce.
Keeping our manufacturing in Canada allows us to react quickly, continuously improve our products, and maintain the standards expected by military personnel, law-enforcement professionals, first responders, and demanding outdoor users.

PREMIUM MATERIALS AND COMPONENTS
Tactical equipment is only as reliable as the materials used to build it.
We manufacture our equipment using carefully selected technical materials and components from established North American suppliers. Depending on the product and its intended application, this may include:

- Squadron® laminated materials
- MIL-SPEC nylon webbing
- Hook-and-loop materials
- High-strength polymer hardware
- Heavy-duty thread
- Elastic retention materials
Whenever possible, we prioritize materials manufactured in Canada and the United States. Materials are selected based on strength, abrasion resistance, weight, environmental performance, and suitability for professional field use.
QUALITY CONTROL AT EVERY STAGE
Quality control is integrated throughout our manufacturing process rather than left until the final step.
During production, our team verifies material placement, seam construction, reinforcement points, hardware installation, dimensional consistency, and overall workmanship. High-stress areas are reinforced using bartacks, double stitching, laminated structures, or additional material layers where required.
Each finished product is inspected before leaving our facility.
Maintaining production in-house allows us to identify issues quickly, make immediate adjustments, and continuously improve our designs based on manufacturing data and customer feedback.
