By far the best value tactical headlamp I have ever used.
I have used every brands you can think of and this princeton tec byte is my personal favorite and here's why:
1. Red light comes on as default with a tap, perfect for tactical light discipline. White light is a long press.
2. 2xAAA batteries, none of this BS recharge. I always keep spare batteries so I can run this little beast anytime.
3. The contruction is exceptionally well made for the price and it comes in multicam. Rated IPX4
4. It's simple and it works
Great pouch and fits handcuffs perfectly. Doesn’t bounce around or make noise while on the vest. Molle is snug to the vest and overall low profile. Well made and would buy again.
Works great on my kit, size is right for a belt rig and no flap to fight with when in the prone.

High quality pouch. Screams quality. Very durable buckles, additional drawstring is great. Exterior sleeve type pockets are a great use of space. It is obvious that they take pride in their work.

I used to buy my Helikon-Tex and Direct Action gear directly from the manufacturer in Poland. Thanks toCarcajou Tactical I can get the same gear, for cheaper, in a much more expedited time frame. I’ve been using Helikon gear for years now and having a Canadian supplier has made my life easier, and less expensive.
Mesh Ld is perfect, soft, quiet, and doesn’t absorb moisture. It has no shine and blends well during changing daylight. The ranger green and white functioned well during the hunting season.
1/8 shock cord can be used to fashion a pack scrim
This is a great product. I have it with their boonies hat. Feels great and is comfortable with my Binos.
