I have several of these sustainment pouches.The ones I use most often are on a chest rig device I put together with a yoke from Carcajou, a hip pack from Savotta and some odds and ends of surplus gear. It works really well. There is a Carcajou admin pouch on the back of the rig as well. Perfect size for Roxy’s first aid kit. My other pouches are attached to various rucks. My tactical ways are little ways behind me.
I now have two of these. I use them on an old Dutch surplus battle belt that I walk my dog with. My tactical days are a little ways in the rearview mirror.
Haven’t field tested but the versatility is excellent. The ability to add or take away from in a short timeframe is excellent for in field use and sticking in a pack. The design is well thought out and well made. I just added the leaves, which I ordered separate and the hood becomes an excellent source of camo. I’m looking forward to combining with some Reith Camo and testing against thermal.

The thing is I like this a whole lot. The profile is right where it needs to be.Short brim with distressed edges. What could be better? I remember my old Boonie hat I had as a young reserve medic. It was just too wide at the brim. We didn’t have all the camo patterns they have now. This A-TACS iX really works for me. I have had others but they didn’t cut it. Thanks for a great product and I wish continued success.
This is a very versatile pouch, like everything these guys make it’s tough, well stitched, and light, you can sinch this thing down to whatever size you need depending what you put in there, for me I use it as a dump pouch for empty mags on one side and the other side holds medical and some tools, the webbing on the sides and top make it even more versatile. Stitching is tough, material is tough, and it’s light, it’s in the perfect ratio compared to other pouches I have,

Well built, double stitching, bar tacks, smart design inside and out. Not crazy about the attachment system, but gear like this should be tied down too.
Fit is great on my Ops Core bump helmet. Installation video was great and detailed.
