Excellent Boonie - lightweight, breathable, provides coverage. If you're close on the size threshold between a 'Size 1' and 'Size 2', go for Size 2; you can cinch it up decently. Happy I purchased this Boonie.
Think of the time you’ve spent perfecting different components of a ghillie suit. Cutting, stitching, seasoning, shoe gooing, prepping veg ties, and almost certainly questioning every one of your life decisions while doing so. This hat, from the package, cuts 90% of the tedious work out. Hat is sturdy, well stitched, and comes out of the plastic ready to tie on 550 and smush in the mud. The top mesh is sturdy, not too thin, not too thick. Frayed edges are done right, and the hat isn’t going to unravel on you further. The netting on top is affixed in a way that gives plenty of space to tie on your bands or 550 with ease without tearing material and/or making you want to hurl a wrench through a window. My only complaint is I didn’t come up with this idea myself a decade ago. 10/10 recommend.
Very high quality gear. Be sure to buy in a larger size than you might in a US cover. I've always preferred the short brim for being able to hear more clearly what was happening around me. My eldest Grandson loved it. For what you get the pricing is reasonable.
It’s a great hat! I was out in the sun hiking all day, didn’t feel the need to take it off once. Kept me cool and shaded all day.

I have been looking for a good A-tacs boonie for quite some time. This one takes the cake, and is going to make the rest of the summer way more bareable. Would absolutely love to see the desert tiger stripe patter come into this model if at all possible. Thank you for an awesome product!

10/10. Amazing quality, looks great and fits well. Im in between sizes, so I went with the larger. With a little tension on the bungee, its perfect. What I do is put the chin strap behind my head, then cinch that tight to the back of my head. No squeezing from the elastic, but stays locked on. Pricey, but well worth it. Will order more in other colors.
