The MOLLE belt kit is well made. The stitching is strong, and the body material is very sturdy and sheds briars, stickers and fuzzy's. The harness anchor points are sturdy and have good placement. The M81 color doesn't seem as bright as the pouches but is mostly covered. I was worried about the padding because it is thinner (but denser) than another brand belt I borrowed last year. This padding turned out to be fine. I used it in the field in late October, so I didn't notice any issues with heat retention. The padding is stitched in a way that seems to create channels for airflow. Loaded up with two pouches (3 mags each), a single mag pouch attached to the front mag pouch (7 loaded mags total), a commanders pouch, two nalgene pouches, K-Bar, an IFAK and a buttpack, the whole thing weighed in just over 22 pounds. The belt is wide and sits nice on the hips. A harness keeps the weight distribution even. No issues with the belt (or pouches) after enduring 4 long days in the clay, shale and brush.

The magazine pouch is well made. The stitching is strong, and the body material is very sturdy and sheds briars, stickers and fuzzy's. The closure is by velcro tab (optional) and buckle/clip. You can undo the buckle/clip as you get close to your objective. Then you only have to rip up on the lid to have access to the magazines. This pouch was used on the Carcajou MOLLE belt kit. The laser cut MOLLE slots left and right are also well placed and useful. The M81 color is a little bright but after a 4 day training event involving some low-crawling and dragging, the color is muted but the top is still a little bright. No issues with the belt or pouches after enduring 4 days in clay, shale and brush.

Materials, colors, and construction leave nothing to be desired. And that goes for the Sniper and their standard Boonie hat as well.

Sizing: I'd initially bought three hats in size 1, as my melon fell right into its respective measurements. But I found them to be too snug, so I gave them to my brother and his kiddos. They fit perfect and I'm the coolest uncle. Picked up three more in size 2 and they're perfect for shaping with a little cinch'n.

The slim sleeves on the right and left are good for flat foil packs of water purify tablets and electrolyte packets on one side and a thin boo-boo pack in a ziplock on the other side. The M81 color is a little bright but after a 4-day training event involving some low-crawling and dragging, the front is more muted. the sides can't be seen because stuff is attached, but the top is still a little bright.
