The Outdoor Research Allies Colossus II Parka delivers extreme warmth, weather protection, and mission-ready durability for severe cold-weather operations.

Field tested in Arctic conditions, the Colossus II is designed specifically for static and low-exertion scenarios where maintaining body heat is critical. Its rugged Cordura® nylon ripstop shell incorporates Outdoor Research’s breathable AscentShell™ Air electrospun membrane, providing waterproof and windproof protection while allowing moisture and excess heat to escape.

Inside, 150 g/m² VerticalX™ ECO synthetic insulation provides substantial warmth while maintaining performance in damp and variable conditions. With 85% recycled polyester content, the insulation delivers excellent loft and cold-weather performance without relying on down.

An adjustable insulated, helmet-compatible hood provides additional protection in severe weather, while the insulated fleece draft collar and integrated fleece wrist gaiters help seal warmth around two of the body's most exposed areas.

The Combat Fit is designed to accommodate substantial cold-weather layering and operational equipment without unnecessarily restricting movement.

A YKK® AquaGuard® two-way center front zipper allows flexible ventilation and access to equipment, while adjustable wrist cuffs, an elastic drawcord hem, and critically seam-taped construction help seal out wind, snow, and precipitation.

Multiple storage options—including chest, forearm, shoulder, hand, and internal stash pockets—keep mission-essential equipment accessible while allowing sensitive items to be carried close to the body in extreme cold.
