Built for demanding winter environments where warmth, waterproof protection, and dexterity are essential, the Outdoor Research Men’s Arete Modular GORE-TEX® Glove combines premium materials with a versatile modular design that adapts to changing conditions and activity levels.

The waterproof and windproof outer glove features a GORE-TEX® insert for dependable protection against snow, moisture, and harsh winter weather while maintaining the breathability needed during active use.

100 g EnduraLoft™ synthetic insulation provides reliable warmth without excessive bulk, while the durable stretch-woven outer fabric allows greater freedom of movement for handling equipment and performing tasks that require precise hand control.

A water-resistant goat-leather palm and fingers provide excellent grip, abrasion resistance, and durability when handling tools, equipment, trekking poles, weapons, vehicle controls, and other gear.

Inside, a removable 300-weight fleece liner glove adds warmth and versatility. The liner is fully finished and can be worn independently in milder conditions, while touchscreen compatibility allows smartphones, GPS units, and other electronic devices to be operated without exposing bare hands.

This modular construction creates a practical 3-in-1 cold-weather system: wear the complete glove for maximum weather protection and insulation, use the waterproof outer glove with another preferred liner, or wear the fleece liner independently.

A full-length adjustable gauntlet provides extended coverage over jacket sleeves, while the stretch wrist cinch helps secure the glove and retain warmth. Removable wrist leashes reduce the risk of dropping a glove when removed, and an integrated glove clip keeps the pair together when stored.
