I use the Shaw Concepts ArcV2 plate carrier and have their sidepouch that holds a side plate and a mag. I used some cheap Kydex insert as a way to easily put the mag but it obviously forcefully pushes the pouch out and kind of jams into my rib
So I decided to try this, and with some workaround to fit it in, it works like a charm!
It easily slides in any of my mags (be it stanag or pmag) with no issues. And I enjoy the minimalist design which was perfect for my kit

Fix for cheap Amazon chest rigs with mag spaces that are too tight of a fit to easily access mags. This allows for easier/faster access. Next time, I’m just going to skip Amazon and come straight to Carcajou Tactical. The quality control is way better than Amazon.

Im very picky so i like to buy high budget gear and please believe me that i bought plenty of different items from different brands and Carcajou is my go to. If you guys are planning to get gear , trust me that you won't be disappointed. A1👍🏻
The build quality is nice, but the pistol inserts are so loose even my double stack Glock mags won’t stay in without the bungee retention.

The 7.62 pouches fit SKS mags well, as was recommended by the customer service team. The thriple with the LP4 will leave you a small space for a pistol mag insert if you want.
Very solid mag inserts with stiff dividers that makes reindexing easy. Bungee retention works like any other. I’m happy with the way they work in my chest right now and you can’t go wrong buying these.
The triple 5.56 mag inserts are awesome with my new M81 6 column placard!

Good insert but they add a lot of outward bulk to the setup especially if you run pouches on the mag stack
First time Carcajou Tactical buyer. Bought mag inserts along with the mag stack for my chest rig. Good quality material and stitching. Mag inserts hold PMags snugly without need for the retention straps. I use stanag mags which fit loosely (quick to remove) but need the retention straps.
I love the quality of all my carcajou product so I was excited for this one, but it has one critical flaw. The metal rivets between the magazine sections often grab the edge of my magazine preventing me from inserting them. I remedied this by wrapping them in tape. Works but sucks for a pricey piece of kit. Still superior to elastic mag inserts in my opinion.
