Outdoor Research’s ActiveTemp™ thermoregulating technology helps regulate body temperature as activity levels change, while the 100% polyester fabric efficiently wicks moisture and dries quickly to help maintain comfort during extended use.

A hinged face design allows the lower portion of the balaclava to be quickly raised or lowered as conditions change, providing adaptable protection without requiring the entire balaclava to be removed.

The low-profile hood construction minimizes bulk beneath helmets, making the Octaclava particularly well suited for winter field use, skiing, climbing, snowshoeing, cycling, and other cold-weather activities where head protection must integrate with additional equipment.
