Built for dependable protection in persistent rain and unpredictable weather, the Outdoor Research Men’s Foray 3L Jacket combines durable 3-layer waterproof construction, excellent mobility, and industry-leading ventilation in a versatile technical shell.

Constructed with AscentShell™ Dry 3-layer technology, the Foray provides waterproof, windproof, and breathable protection while maintaining the flexibility needed for active movement. Its 40D 100% recycled nylon face fabric incorporates mechanical stretch, allowing the jacket to move naturally with the body without sacrificing weather resistance.

A factory-applied Nikwax Direct.Dry DWR treatment helps shed rain and moisture from the exterior fabric, maintaining performance during extended exposure to wet conditions.

The defining feature of the Foray is Outdoor Research’s TorsoFlo™ ventilation system. Long side zippers extend from the hem to the bicep, allowing the jacket to be opened dramatically for rapid heat release during strenuous activity. The design also provides easier access to base layers, pockets, and equipment worn around the waist.

A fully adjustable hood with a bonded brim provides additional protection during heavy rain, while YKK® AquaGuard® zippers, a front storm flap, adjustable cuffs, and an elastic drawcord hem help seal out wind and precipitation.

Zippered chest and hand pockets provide secure storage for essentials without compromising the jacket’s streamlined construction.
